Nothing doing~

So I’ve been absolutely and completely free for the past few days. Got a nerve compression ( or something like that – ain’t got a ditz what it is exactly about ) in my right arm, and it pained like hell even to move my fingers. There seemed to be a swelling on one of the motor nerves, I guess. It has got a lot okay in this while but it still does feel quite heavy if I use my arm for more than half an hour at a stretch. But it’s loads better than before; that time, it almost felt like it was a completely different entity of its own, and had simply refused to operate according to my brain waves. -shudder- Anyway, that particular period seems to have passed now. I’m still on drugs, yeah, and will be doing so for the better part of the next month if the prescriptions I’ve received are anything to go by. But at least my arm feels mine own again. And I can type, even if I still can’t seem to hold the pen properly to write for more than a few minutes.

More importantly, I’m thinking of starting to learn the violin, yay! I mean, I always was attracted to it, obviously, but before this, I’d never really made much of a conscious effort to search out a violin class. There were just two I found though – one which seems good but doesn’t teach classical at all, just the western songs, and other, which isn’t really a swanky little thing but they do teach proper classical for sure. They rather emphasize on that part. The only problem is that this second one is a bit farther than the first, and that’s almost like thirteen or fourteen kilometres from my place. While it’s more than okay with me to travel that distance on the weekends, it’ll be a mess going there directly from college. That’d make my round trip to college an affair of almost fifty kilometres. -sigh- But can’t really do anything about it as there’s no point attending the classes continuously on the weekends– no time to practice. So I’ll have to endure the journey for at least one weekday. Well, that’s kinda the setback in the first class as well, and they have only weekday batches to top it up, lol.  That’s that then. I’m going tomorrow to talk out the details at the second class. Hopefully, I’ll be able to buy a violin in a couple of days after that and start on it already. ^~^

On another note, my end-terms will be held in about a month from now. Haven’t really started on anything– I prefer making notes alongwith studying, thus not being able to write was a major problem there– but I’m hoping to begin on EME right after I’m done with my current work. And eaten something, lol. I’ll be fainting with hunger if I don’t eat something in half an hour, most probably. xD So yeah, I think I’ll go for the ‘Properties of Gases’ and ‘Properties of Steam’ today… let’s see how much I’m able to do before my arm gives away to the stress. Hopefully, I’ll be able t complete these two topics at least. Then tomorrow, once I’m done with all the morning chores and duties, the very first thing I’m going to do is watch Laundry. Now I know that’s gonna be a huge problem because I can’t really find a good pair of earphones or headphones on me anywhere. >.< Maybe I’ll just dig out all that I have and check. Or if nothing works, I’ll just connect my PC cabinet to the LCD and Home Theatre, and watch it there. Also, I got some reliable good links for downloading Coraline so I’m hoping to watch that in a couple of days too. And I’m really excited about that as that’s rumoured to be one of the best stop-motion 3D films released in the past few years! How cool’s that, eh? xD

Anyway, this is it for now. My hand is starting to act up already now. And my belly too, for that matter. ;) Later then~
