Guess I was a bit too bored outta my mind. And blogging it out is always a sparkling option. Though I really don’t have an idea of what to write, considering I’ve been ripping and burning DVDs for the better part of the last two hours. And movies at that. Hell, who keeps movies on their PCs? Oh right, my brother does. But damnit, I don’t, and neither do I have the virtual storage capacity for such stupid stuff. Okay, it isn’t completely stupid, but hey, my HDD was for storing anime/manga/art/books/music– and that too which I download all the while. And now I’ve already run out of space for saving these things; and on top of it all, I’ve to clean out a whopping 9 GB of space to save some movies! And he doesn’t get me any more DVDs either! ( Sucks. Majorly. )

Anyway, that isn’t the point now. Hmm… so I’ve started watchin’ FMA, which I’d heard about a lot, but never got around downloading. The prob is– I don’t have enough HDD space to store the stuff. XD Well, let’s see how far it gets downloaded before the disk cleaner starts whining. Naa… FMA is good, huh. In a very innocent sort of way. Even though there’s a lot of war and violence, it’s really pretty sweet. ( And the movie makes sense now. -_- ) Currently, am at 16th episode– hope I’m able to get to at least half the season before I run out of space.

Oh yeah, I watched Saiyuki Premium OVA – 2nd part. And I understood most of it! Yay~!  I couldn’t believe it though… I mean, I haven’t really learnt spoken Japanese as such, but I could get most of what was going on pretty well. Okay, so there’s a lot of cussing and yelling in there ( which is the easy part when it comes to guessing ), but hell, I even got the proper reasoning part– which was a bit tough for me, and I’d to string each word and whatever meaning I remembered for it, and finally make out the sentence. Heh, so I’d to watch it twice, first time with play-pause-play, and at the normal go second time. But I’m so happy~! Now I’m gonna work more on my spoken Japanese skills, and then I’d be able to watch raws! Woot~! I guess I should start with the dual audio/optionally subtitled videos I have ( so that I can relate what I’m trying to understand to what’s going on ), and then move on to drama CDs– let’s see how close I get to the actual translations. ^o^

On a side note, I discovered a really cool tutorial at Lorelei’s– for makin’ an autumn drop template. Looked really beautiful, but it was very long. Longest I’ve seen till date. And even after making it, I still have to slice and code it for a proper layout. Man… nevertheless, I’m gonna give it a try sometime today ( my mind just can’t confine itself to studies, lol ). Hope I get it right, even if not perfect. And I still have to work on my text effects and sig making skills. Waai~! So much work, so li’l time. Lol.
